Meet Our Team
DR. Keith Schreffler
Founder of ArCTIC
"I can feel the knowledge in his fingers." That's what patients say about Dr. Schreffler.
Dr. Schreffler has been listening and finding the source of his patients' pain in Arlington, VA, since 1998. As he says, "My driving force is quality longevity. In the early years, I quickly went from managing patients' pain to finding the root source internal and external factors of stress and began helping patients manage pain by improving stress and lifestyle."
Most often, Dr. Schreffler treats patients with acute and chronic pain, pain from injury or training, rehabilitation, and other health and performance issues. Dr. Schreffler actively uses a combination of Active Release Techniques (ART), Functional Movement Screen (FMS), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Dry Needling, and Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (SASTM) to treat his patients and strengthen areas of weakness.
Dr. Schreffler is a 1993 graduate from Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia. He completed his undergraduate studies at Valdosta State University, in his hometown of Valdosta, Georgia, where he majored in biology. Dr. Schreffler received his license to practice chiropractic from the Virginia Board of Medicine in 1996. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Virginia Chiropractic Association. He is a diplomat of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
A long-time resident of Arlington, VA, and a life-long commitment to fitness and quality longevity, he has participated in two inline skating ultra-marathons for Team in Training, raising funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. ARCTIC (formerly Schreffler Chiropractic) has been a corporate sponsor of Skater's Quest, the annual Skate of the Union , and the former annual Acumen Solutions Race for a Cause 8K. As a testicular cancer survivor, he volunteers for the American Cancer Society using his experience to heighten cancer awareness. You can often find him inline skating on the W&OD or fly fishing in nearby streams on the weekends.
