Running is easier with a coach! Whether you’re looking to return to running after a break – be it from a baby, injury, or loss of motivation – or you are just getting started, we can help.

Run Better: Our running coaches have decades of experience and can make your running easier and better with their expertise.  Learn how to run efficiently, improve your form, fit it into your life and train for your goal, whatever it may be.

At ArCTIC, we specialize in the following:

  • Providing specific running training plans for race time goals (e.g. Cherry Blossom 10-Mile Run, Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon, Army Ten-Miler, Marine Corps Marathon, Boston Marathon)

Below are sample programs that we offer:

GAIT ANALYSIS [$130]
The goal of an ARCTIC gait analysis is efficiency. Greater efficiency equates to greater distance, speed, and power output. To accomplish this we take a three-fold approach:

  • Treadmill Assessment focusing on the big rocks (cadence, sound and vertical displacement) more than the little rocks (biomechanics and verbal cues)
  • Functional Movement Screen (FMS) tests 7 basic fundamental movement patterns looking for weak links and asymmetries. We then provide corrective exercises to guide you in accomplishing greater mobility, strength and stability which will contribute to greater efficiency when running.
  • Brief Outdoor Run with our running coach to tie it all together

RUNNING START [$129]
This program is designed to jump start your running program. This package includes:

  • 3-week online training plan
  • Initial interview with your personal coach to establish goals
  • Weekly check-in with your personal coach either by phone or e-mail

RUNNING START PLUS [$350]
This program is designed to jump start your running program on the right foot with additional services to help prevent injury. This package includes:

  • 3-week online training plan
  • Initial interview with your personal coach to establish goals
  • Weekly check-in with your personal coach either by phone or e-mail
  • Gait Analysis with your personal coach and Dr. Schreffler
  • One-hour, one-on-one coaching session with your personal coach

ONLINE COACHING [$300]
This program is designed to get you started with a running program while allowing you the flexibility of completely running on your own. This package includes:

  • 12-week online training program
  • Initial interview with your personal coach to establish goals
  • Weekly check-in with your personal coach either by phone or e-mail

ONLINE COACHING HYBRID [$475]
This program is designed to get you started with a running program with additional one-on-one coaching sessions. This package includes:

  • 12-week online training program
  • Initial interview with your personal coach to establish goals
  • Weekly check-in with your personal coach either by phone or e-mail
  • 3 1-hour one-on-one coaching sessions with your personal coach

A LA CARTE COACHED RUNS 

  • 60-minute runs with your personal coach [$59]
